Privacy Policy
Your questions stay yours. This policy explains the little we collect, why, and the controls you hold. The short version: castings are encrypted at rest, never sold, never used to train, and deleted when you choose.
01 What we collect
- Account basics — your name and email from Google or Apple sign-in.
- Castings — the questions you ask and the readings you receive.
- Ledger — your Unit balance, purchase records, and usage records.
- Minimal technical data — coarse device and log information needed to keep the service running and secure.
We do not ask for, or want, special-category data. Please don’t put information you wouldn’t want stored into a question.
02 How we use it
We use your data to generate castings and analyses, maintain your balance and history, process payments, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or run advertising.
03 Your castings & the model
To produce a reading, the text of your question is sent to our model provider solely to generate that one response. We do not use your questions or readings to train models, and we instruct our providers not to either.
05 Retention & deletion
Castings remain until you delete them. You can delete individual castings, or all of them at once, from Settings. Deleted castings are removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days. Some payment and ledger records are kept where law requires.
06 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Use the controls in Settings, or write to us and we’ll act within the time the law allows. We will never charge you for, or penalise you for, exercising a privacy right.
07 Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and routine review. No system is perfectly secure, but we hold your castings to the standard the word “private” implies, and we’ll notify you and the regulator if a breach ever requires it.
